During our recent stay at Plain Sailing, we had a lovely time exploring the local area with the family. the apartment itself was well-equipped and thoughtfully decorated, making it a cozy retreat after our daily adventures. the host provided clear instructions for access, making check-in smooth. One of the highlights was the short walk to Fishcombe Cove Beach, just 1.2 km away. Our kids had a blast building sandcastles and splashing in the gentle waves. It was great to have the option to easily pop back to the apartment for snacks or a quick rest before heading out again. We also ventured about 1.4 km to St Mary's Bay Beach, where there were ample space and shallow water, perfect for our little ones to play safely. In the evenings, we enjoyed the convenient access to local eateries, which became our family ritual. While we didn't have time to visit the nearby Newton Abbot Racecourse, we appreciated the variety of family-friendly activities locally accessible.
